Querida Rivera, 42, has been accused of killing Cristos Miguel Johnson inside their Lanham home late last month during what police say was a domestic dispute.

At approximately 7:15 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25, officers from the Prince George's Police Department were called to the 8000 block of Greenfield Drive to investigate a reported stabbing.

Upon arrival, they found Johnson suffering from a stab wound, and he was later pronounced dead after being rushed to an area hospital.

Following an investigation and consultation with the state's attorney's office, Rivera was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, and other offenses. She was in the custody of the Department of Corrections as of Thursday, Feb. 8.
